Where Our Costa Rica
Coffees Begin

Before the roast. Before the cup. There is the land. Rich in volcanic minerals, swept by Pacific-Caribbean winds, nurtured by a unique microclimate, and cared for by hands that respect nature's way,              Costa Rica births a character of coffee like no other.

We Don’t Source Countries. We Source Harvests.

Every decision made after the coffee seed is planted affects the flavour of the harvest, which is why we source directly from the best producers we cross the world to find. To craft the quality we want to produce, it is important that we work with farmers that share a disciplined approach to craft with highly technical knowledge, intergenerational wisdom, and respect for nature. Handpicking. Sustainable cultivation. High-altitude farming. Cultivating with care. A commitment to excellence. Like us.

Respecting Nature's Way
Costa Rica's soil tells a story of cool days under shade, floral and fauna growing nearby, and purity of air. Conserving forests and water, protecting wildlife, and putting sustainable practises like these in place are followed not just at coffee farms, but country wide. And the coffee benefits.

Process Changes the Cup
Processing is an art form our Costa Rica coffee farms have been perfecting for generations. Costa Rica helped pioneer honey processing, which leaves some of the sticky fruit mucilage on the bean during drying, resulting in sweetness and depth. Washed coffees offer clarity and precision; the flesh of the cherry is removed before it is dried.
THE STORY STARTS AT THE SOURCE
