This renowned region boasts some of the best coffee in Honduras due in no small part to excellent processing techniques, which include individual plantation-owned wet mills, fermentation piles and drying patios. This elegant harvest is sourced from a cooperative that exclusively cultivates the red and yellow Catuai varietals at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,700 metres, and produces a full-bodied cup with rich notes of blackberry, has a soft acidity and a very sweet aftertaste.
