Moon Mountain Coffee

This delightful harvest is grown in the Rwenzori mountain range, known as the "Mountains of the Moon,” which stretches along Uganda’s western border. The Bakonzo tribe, who has been cultivating coffee for hundreds of years, care meticulously for small plots (each family has around 0.8 hectares) to produce excellent harvests with cherries being handpicked when ripe and then wet-washed. A gentle cup which features notes of raspberry, apricot and red grape, this coffee is balanced with medium body and low acidity.
