Grown on small “fincas” at an altitude of 1,500 metres in volcanic soil, these Maragogype beans are a true speciality, handpicked over eight harvests to guarantee only the ripest beans are picked each time. The Maragogype plants do not yield as many beans as other coffee varietals and so they are often neglected, but these fascinatingly large beans produce an infusion that bears no comparison. Spicy, yet almost creamy, this coffee will charm even the most demanding connoisseur.
