Our story begins in 1910, at the heart of the Marrakech, hidden within the spectacular Dar el Bacha palace where the greatest cultural and political minds of the century gathered over glittering pots of Moka, as the "coffee of Arabia" or Arabica, used to be called. Now located inside in the Museum of Cultural Confluences of the Dar el Bacha, Bacha Coffee revives a century of time-honoured expertise of hand-roasted beans, bespoke grinds, traditional preparation and elegant service. The restoration undertaken by the National Foundation of Museums of the Kingdom of the original Bacha Coffee Room in Marrakech, Morocco ensures that the breath-taking skylight, geometric patterned trellis, original black-and-white marble floors, brass chandeliers, carved natural cedar woodwork and walls of Bacha Coffee canisters will continue to surprise and delight guests for years to come. Over 100 years later, Bacha Coffee continues to enchant all those who walk through its doors in Marrakech, but also embarks on a very special journey, travelling from its origins in Africa to Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and far beyond, to bring the experience of 100% Arabica to a new world of coffee drinkers.
